Below are some photos of my 24' CW Phase 1 Cruiser (Replica) build. But first here's a bit a background waffle: In 1979 Roger Worsham owned a bike shop called Coast Wheels, in California. Roger then started a BMX manufacturing company in the early 80's which became CW Racing. In 1983 or 1984 CW made the Z frame as a goof for a trade show. The response was so great they decided to produce a limited number. The 20' version is quite rare.

How can I tell what year my bike was made? Should we have a CW question showing all the 'serial name lookup sites'? Mongoose bmx,serial number. I cant find my old CW ZR1's number right now, but will post when I do, that. Older US made GT frames can also be dated by using the serial #.

The 24' is much rarer, as only 40 are rumoured to have been produced. Of that 40 most never made it out of the factory or were quickly recalled due to the welds at the Z failing.
