Mar 09, 2017 Hi everyone, I'm trying to find out how I can install firmware on a Polycom cx3000 device to a specific firmware. The firmware is trying to update. As of the writing of this article the Lync specific firmware release is not. Is there any way to update firmware version of Polycom phone without. CX.
Hey, everyone! I'm new to the Polycom family of products, so I'm hoping someone can help me out. We purchased two new CX700 and they came with Firmware v1.0.522.34. We're currently running Lync Enterprise Server 2013, and I've read online about how you can't jump right to the latest firmware; you have to go to CU June 2012 (CU5) first ( So I did that and Lync Control Panel has version 4.0.7577.4066 as the approved version for the CX700. 
However, the handset still doesn't seem able to update properly. 
It still continues to show a 'Last Update Status' of '(0x2ee7/0).' I've verified that our DHCP settings are correct by using Microsofts included 'DHCPUtil.exe -EmulateClient' ( Here's the final output with the full server name redacted: Result: Success DHCP Server: 10.1.3.1 SIP Server FQDN: Certificate Provisioning Service URL: I know it's looking for updates because the 'Last Update Request' continues to update. Whenever you attempt to login to the phone, it finds the time server and then gives the message 'Cannot sign in to Communications Service.
